What we verify
Every factual claim in an article — how a system works, what a component does, what a specification or figure is — is checked before publication. Opinions and hands-on impressions are clearly written as such.
Our sources, in order of preference
- Primary technical documentation — manufacturer manuals, service documentation and official specifications.
- Regulatory and standards bodies — publications from civil aviation authorities (such as FAA and EASA) and recognised engineering standards organisations.
- Established engineering references — textbooks and peer-reviewed material.
- First-hand professional experience — the author’s own maintenance experience, identified as such in the text.
We avoid sourcing technical claims from forums, content farms or unattributed articles.
An important safety note
Our articles are educational. They are not a substitute for official maintenance documentation, approved training or regulatory guidance.
