Meet Our Team

chipvortex.net is an independent engineering education publication. Behind every article, glossary entry and simulator is a real person with hands-on experience, a documented editorial process, and an open door for your questions and corrections. This page introduces who we are, how we work — and how you can talk to us or even join us.

Founder & Technical Editor

Arslan Ijaz — Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1.1)

chipvortex.net was founded by Arslan Ijaz, a trainee aircraft maintenance engineer on the B1.1 licence pathway. Every technical explanation on this site is either written or reviewed by him, drawing on hands-on experience with real aircraft systems and cross-checked against manufacturer documentation before publication. Read his full background on the Meet the Author page.

Responsible for: all technical content, simulator design, fact-checking and final editorial approval.

How the chipvortex.com team works

We are a small, growing publication — and we believe in being transparent about exactly how our content is produced rather than hiding behind vague titles. Every piece published on chipvortex.com passes through four functions:

  • Research & Writing — Articles begin from reader questions and real maintenance-floor experience, then are researched against primary sources: manufacturer manuals, regulatory publications (FAA, EASA) and established engineering references.
  • Technical Review — Every factual claim is verified before publication, following our published Fact-Checking Policy. If we cannot verify something, we do not publish it.
  • Editorial Standards — Structure, clarity and independence are governed by our Editorial Policy. Advertisers and affiliate partners never influence what we write.
  • Reader Corrections — You are part of this team too. Reader-reported corrections are treated as a feature of our process, not an embarrassment — see below.

Spotted an error? Tell us — we genuinely want to know

Technical accuracy is the entire point of this site. If you find a mistake — a wrong figure, an outdated procedure, a definition that doesn’t match your experience on the hangar floor — please report it. Every report is reviewed personally, and confirmed errors are corrected promptly, with significant corrections noted in the article itself.

Three ways to reach us:

  • 📬 Contact form: the fastest route — send us a message
  • ✉️ Email: arslanijazengr@chipvortex.net (mention the article link and the issue)
  • 💡 Suggestions: want a topic explained, a glossary term added, or a simulator built for a specific system? The same channels work — many of our pages exist because a reader asked for them.

We usually respond within a couple of days.

Join the team

chipvortex.net is growing, and we welcome contributions from people with genuine, verifiable engineering experience — aircraft maintenance technicians, licensed engineers, avionics specialists, instructors and engineering students with strong fundamentals.

If you would like to contribute an article, review our technical content in your specialty, or help build interactive simulators, get in touch with a short note about your background. Every contributor we bring on will be named, credited and accountable — the same standard we hold ourselves to.

What we stand for

One promise ties all of this together: nothing on chipvortex.com is published that we cannot stand behind. Real names, real experience, verifiable sources, visible corrections. That is what we believe engineering education owes its readers — whether the team behind it is one technician or ten.
